In this moment, despite horrendous actions by a minority, and the creation of despair; we as a culture our rejecting it and creating a counterbalance of soul to it. There is something happening. Despite the availability of the opposite, there is an active collective bringing their soul in response to it. We are watching a collective soul awakening. People share their souls through art mediums, service and countless ways. It is so heartening to pay attention to. So, look there, look to the awakening of soul.
As I look around, I see beautiful creations. Here on Substack as well as other places. We are as a culture engaged and creating. I think at our center, we like the one Source, our creators. It is what makes our soul thrive to create in alignment with our being. Of course, you must spend the time to excavate yourself to truly align. Sometimes we are buried underneath other people’s beliefs and expectations. At times so much so, that we think those expectations belong to us. It’s freeing to discover your own true self; to excavate your authenticity and begin to commune more freely with it.
If you ever wonder if something is missing in your life, maybe you are missing your soul. Our soul is so connected. It is connected to everything alive really, including the One Source.
One of the elements of expression of the One Source is the beauty of nature, there are times where a walk-in nature feels like a holy communion. Nature brings us for a moment close to the Divine given its awe-inspiring natural beauty. There is no man-made monument more beautiful than those created by something so magnificent no name can do it justice. The intricacy of it all takes your breath away especially when you truly come alive to it, the alive connection in all things made of aliveness. We call this energy God, the Divine, the One source, the Creator and simply to acknowledge the wonderment of it all is mind blowing, to witness the beauty and grace. And that grace and beauty resides in you; it is connected to your soul, your higher wisdom.
As a prerequisite to remembering our wholeness, we need to find our core self which is the connection to our soul self. And once connected there is an eternal desire within to create from this soul self, and anything not of this authenticity leaves us drained. We crave it. We crave it in ourselves and others. Have you ever noticed how you feel when in the presence of someone that has connected to this self? Strive for that, place your focus there, on the excavation of your soul, said another way your Holy Self, the part if you connected to the divine.
As Ram Dass stated:
“If I am in my soul, when I look at others, I see their souls... But when we recognize each other as souls, we are seeing each other as aspects of the One.”
“Soul’s love. That’s what souls do. Egos don’t, but souls do. Become a soul, look around, and you’ll be amazed—all the beings around you are souls. Be one, see one.”
Thank you, Ram Dass, for living so connected.
The One source that is in all things of aliveness is referred to by many names. When you are connected to your soul, you are connected to the Source of all things.
It is only when we are unlike love that we lose our connection to our soul. Just think about what you do to yourself when you are living unlike love, it’s a form of death. You certainly are not living from an alive place. Why would anyone believe the one source/creator would want that for us, its own creation? Yet, we must keep in mind that we have free will, the choice is ours do we want to connect and live from soul self.
I find the humor of the divine fascinating. It is not out there, it is within each person, which is usually one of the last places looked. Where you least expect it, the greatest journey is inward. It is within you
Our soul is made of love; the essence of source, and given we are in source’s likeness, we are love and we are creators.
I witness anything truly alive as having a quality of love residing within it. An essence that resides there that you can touch so to speak. When we are connected to our love space, our soul, we are connected to the love that resides in all of us and we are magnificent creators.
In a still and quite moment be with yourself and ask am I connected to my soul? Does your life feel joyful? Do you perceive a connection to more than yourself? Do you feel on fire with purpose, in a not out of your mind way? Soul doesn’t look to hurt others, our fearful ego self does. Soul looks to love. And, sometimes this can be confusing as our ego and the need to control and event or outcome can trick us into believing we are acting from heart, when really we are afraid. We manage this fear through a need to be in control of an outcome, situation, or the other. The opposite of love.
I think we are creators no matter whether we are connected to our soul or life or not, but the creation itself will be different, soulless perhaps. Often thoughtless and full of narcissism. The creation will possibly lack the knowledge of connection to all and therefore the impact to others may not be a consideration. Ultimately what you put out returns like a boomerang, sometimes quick and sometimes the arrival date is slower. When you look at the life you are living is it congruent with your soul?
When was the last time you created anything that brought you contentment or maybe you are on fire with it.
Look at your truth and inner knowing for it is your life that is at play, and given the short nature of life here, I wonder what creations are eternal? Is it perhaps how you live and love, how you treat others, how you develop your own authentic soul self?
Consider further, if we are songs playing our music while here, what music would your soul play? When you create from soul with another, you can create some magical outcomes. I invite you to join the movement, a movement of a return to soul and soul creation.
